A Church of God Ministry will not be meeting that day but instead will be joining the celebration of the Springfield Church with United Church of God.

United Church of God will be hosting a 50th Anniversary for the Church in Springfield, Missouri on August 9th at the Teamsters Union Hall 1850 E. Division, Springfield, MO. which is where World Wide Church of God met for years.

The Schedule:

1:00 p.m. Fellowship and snacks

2:30 p.m. Services

6:00 p.m. Catered dinner

The dinner cost is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children.  In the evening, music and dancing, table games and cards.  A picnic is planned for Sunday, August 10th in the area park.  More information on the picnic will follow.  Please bring any pictures, information, or anything you would like to share showing church history or past activities. 

Anyone is invited who was a part of the church at the time it started here in Springfield or who has attended in the past and would like to attend.  Please spread the word to others.
