Kenya Hands of Hope

The Churches of God in Kenya are much in need of Bibles for teaching as well as other supplies.  In the United States things we take for granted here are not so in Kenya.  God’s inspired Holy word is one of them!   We have a privilege to live in a nation that has been blessed with so much.   So what can we do for a Nation that has so little?

The apostle James tells us in James 2:15-18.

15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food,

16 and one of you says to them, "Depart in peace, be warmed and filled," but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?

17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

18 But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

NKJV

A Church of God Ministry is just a small work but we will do what we can with what God gives us.  We have purchased Bibles in the NKJV and have shipped them to Bill Goff to take with him to Africa for the Feast.  Bill Goff started "Kenya Hands of Hope" out of New Jersey and we are working directly with him to help care for our brethren in Africa.  Bill and his son visit Kenya and other areas of Africa and have a genuine Love for the brethren there.

If you would like to help us in “Kenya Hands of Hope” just go to our donations page and click on the donation button and specify that it is for Kenya and your funds will be sent to "Kenya Hands of Hope"!  Optionally you can mail your donation to A Church of God Ministry or go directly to Bill Goff's web site of Voice in the Wilderness and donate directly on his site.

If you have any questions about what can be mailed or about “Kenya Hands of Hope” you can  email us at:  webmaster@cogministry.org

100% of all donations marked for Kenya will go to Kenya to purchase Bibles, food, clothes, children’s books, mosquito nets, sheets, blankets, and other necessities for the Brethren and to preach the gospel to our brethren in Kenya.  Receipts will be mailed out annually for tax purposes. We can ship Books through mail bags from the US post office at book rates fairly easily but the other items for the orphanage will need to be purchased by the Elders in Kenya, as shipping is very expensive and it also has to go through customs.

My wife Lanora and I have been communicating with Bill Goff in New Jersey of "Voice in the Wilderness Church of God" who is working with some of the Churches of God brethren in Kenya and other areas of Africa.  He has started "Kenya Hands of Hope".  This is the scripture he reminds the brethren of when he is in Kenya.  I thought it to be appropriate.

They are Christ words used to help comfort those who are hungry physically and spiritually.

Matt 6:33-34

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

NKJV

Still, a brother in need is a brother in need!  Our intentions are to do whatever we can to help out the brethren in Kenya. We know we cannot do this alone! This is a great opportunity for anyone who wishes to do so to do something for someone else that has no way to repay you.
